Scholarship Information — American Clan Gregor Society
Educational assistance is offered each year to descendants of MacGregors and individuals of Scottish or Scots-Irish heritage. Scholarships are also available to ACGS members and widows/widowers of members. Membership is not required to apply.
Scholarships are funded through investment income from the ACGS Charity and Education Fund. Award amounts are set annually by the Board of Trustees.
Application Deadline:
All applications must be received by April 1, 2026. Late submissions will not be considered.

Piping Scholarship
Introduced in 2018, this scholarship supports aspiring pipers and promotes the development of MacGregor pipers. It provides funding for one full week of tuition, room, and board at the North American Academy of Piping and Dancing in Valle Crucis, NC—held in conjunction with the Grandfather Mountain Highland Games.
